What is Hoodstock?
Hoodstock is our spring community festival celebrating art and music! Hoodstock will feature student performances, hands on arts activities, live music, raffles and food trucks!
How did Hoodstock start?
Hoodstock was started in 2008 by a former Broadmor parent and Hoodlums Music Owner Steve Wiley, as a grass-roots effort by Hoodlums Records, local bands and the store’s shopping plaza neighbors to raise money for Broadmor Elementary School. The festival is now in its 15th year and is hosted at the school and organized by volunteer parents and the PTA. Where it All Began: The Return of a Legend
Before Hoodstock became the community staple it is today, Psych 101 was there setting the standard at Hoodlums Music. As one of the original bands from the very first lineup, their phenomenal talent and unique artistry helped define the event's identity.
This year, we are bringing that legendary sound back to the stage. To honor their return and the history they helped create, the 2025 Hoodstock logo is a direct tribute to our original 2010 design. It’s a celebration of the world-class local music that has been the heartbeat of this movement since day one.
